  4. Provide legal and ethical protection for authors and readers.

Screening Process

  1. All manuscripts submitted through the online submission system will be checked using plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin, iThenticate, or similar tools).

  2. Editors will conduct an initial desk screening to ensure the manuscript’s focus and originality.

  3. Manuscripts showing plagiarism above the threshold (e.g., >20%) will not proceed to peer review.

Plagiarism Assessment Criteria

  • Direct plagiarism: Copying word-for-word without citation.

  • Paraphrasing plagiarism: Copying ideas or structure without reference.

  • Self-plagiarism: Submitting the same or substantially similar work to another journal.

Note: Properly cited quotes and references according to citation standards are not considered plagiarism.

Actions in Case of Violation

  1. If plagiarism is detected at the initial stage, the manuscript will be rejected and the author warned.

  2. If plagiarism is detected after publication:

    • The article may be retracted.

    • The author will be sanctioned according to journal policy.

    • A notification will be published on the journal’s website.

Author Responsibilities

  1. Authors must ensure that the manuscript is original and that references are correctly cited.

  2. Authors must sign the Author Declaration Form stating that the manuscript is original and has not been published elsewhere.
